ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID #1145– MLK Park, Springfield, TN    

Sealed Bids will be received by Springfield Tennessee, at their offices located at the Springfield City Hall, 405 N Main Street, Springfield, TN 37172, until 2:00 P.M., local time, on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 and opened publicly at that hour. The reading of the bids will begin at 2:05 P.M. This project is funded under an agreement with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) Local Parks and Recreation (LPRF) grant.  Please send sealed bids to the Office of City Recorder at above address and note Bid #1145 on the outside of the sealed envelope.    

This bid package is for construction of a new phase of MLK Park.  Project includes all work shown on the plans and specifications to include, but not be limited to, the following items: Mass Grading, Utilities, Erosion Control (both permanent and temporary), Paving, Concrete Walkways and Plazas, Lighting and Amenities .    

Work shall consist of furnishing all materials, supplies and equipment and performing all labor and services incidental to, or necessary for, the completion of construction of the project in accordance with the plans and specifications.    

Plans, specifications and contract documents shall be available on October 6, 2020 and may be examined at the following plan rooms: Dodge Data Analytical, Builders Exchange of Tennessee, Minority Business Development Center, Isqft, or copies of these plans, specifications and contract documents may be obtained from Lose Design, 2809 Foster Avenue, Nashville, TN 37210, upon payment of fifty ($50.00) dollars.  The cost is non-refundable. There will be no charge for digital copies. Checks should be payable to Lose Design.  

  MLK Park is open to the public every day of the week for bidding contractors to review the site.  The City of Springfield reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
