Description:
Type C Conventional 78 passenger bus, Type D 84 passenger bus, and special needs bus. Depending on pricing and funding, Roane County will purchase three (3) to six (6) buses.
The school bus body (or bodies)
furnished shall comply with all current Tennessee state and Federal Motor
Vehicle Safety Standards in effect at time of bid. Additionally, Roane County Board
of Education is requiring the following supplementary specifications. Any
exceptions to these specifications should be concisely noted in the space
provided. Equivalency of any exceptions to the items requested will be solely
at the discretion of Roane County Board of Education.
