Description: The Walker County Board of Education is requesting bids for custodial supplies to be used by the Walker County School System. Bidders should thoroughly review all terms, conditions, and specifications. If you have questions in reference to the bid please contact Kelia Kimbell, Walker County Department of Education, 298 Culberson Ave., LaFayette, Georgia at (706) 638-2270. Bids will be awarded on a per item basis and not as a package. Please feel free to bid on as many items as your company can provide. Bids will be awarded to qualified vendors that can provide environmentally preferred janitorial cleaning products and custodial training if needed on those products. Bids will be awarded on the basis of quality of products, service and dependability, performance of product, warranty, training capability, and cost. We are not required to accept low bid without considering all aspects of the product and company. The award of bids may be made on groups of items, individual items or the entire bid. The Walker County Board of Education reserves the right to continually purchase items from previous bidders as long as items continue to comply with specifications and performance requirements. Once the bid is awarded, an order will be placed.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: This is a mandatory pre-bid meeting. In order for a bid to be considered, a representative must attend the pre-bid meeting. This meeting is discuss products needed and to answer any questions that vendors may have.

Overview: 1. Item #CU-080 Upper Limits will not be included in the bid at this time. We are in the process of re-evaluating what floor care products to use. This type of product will be included in a separate bid/quote package. We have attached an updated bid worksheet with this item removed. 2. For clarification, any products included in your bid proposal that would not fit our current dispensers, please include in your quote that all dispensers needed for the entire school district will be provided and installed at no cost to the school district, as long as we use your product. The decision will be made based on all criteria listed in the bid documents. 3. There was some confusion on the product specifications because we listed all products that we carry and not just what we are including in this bid packet. We have updated the specs sheet to remove all items that are not included in the current bid, unless it is related to another product, for example soap and a soap dispenser.
