Calhoun
County is seeking qualified, established, professional, janitorial firms to
provide cleaning services for County building sites listed in these
specifications. Potential contractors must submit a proposal for all building
sites listed to be considered. The length of this contract will be three (3)
years, commencing on October 10, 2021 and continuing through October , 2024.
This contract may be extended for two (2) additional years, at the discretion
of the County, including evaluation of past services, and through mutual
agreement of both parties. Contractor must be able to commence provision of
janitorial services by October 10, 2021.

Question: What is the current contracted monthly price and yearly price? What is accurate square footage for the locations that need servicing? The figures do not match with the totals (RFP total:22,050 vs calculated total: 314,864)
Response: My apologies for the confusion. The numbers on the previous document were not correct. An updated and corrected Attachment A (Facility Data) has been uploaded. Please use the current bid document and square footage numbers.

Question: Do you have county employee and visitor counts for each location?
Response: No, we do not have these counts. The walk through will give a good idea as to the use of the buildings.

Question: One location is omitted in Attachment A?
Response: They are all included: Justice Center, Toeller Building, Marshall County Courthouse, Road Department Building, and Albion Human Services Building.

Response: The County does not generally split the award.

Question: Interior cleaning in fact means nothing outside: Entries, sidewalks, patios or parking lots?
Response: Correct. All cleaning is inside the buildings.

Question: Does County expect EPA "N" list disinfecting services: On Some daily, daytime, or other routine?
Response: Not currently. The County will adhere to the CDC guidelines, if and when they impose additional guidelines. If required, the contract would be amended if needed.
