Description: The City of Germantown, Tennessee, located approximately twenty miles east of Downtown Memphis, Tennessee hereinafter referred to as the City, intends to secure a contract for engineering design services for the installation of a diesel powered generator to provide emergency backup power to three (3) geographically separated sanitary sewer lift stations and for traffic signals located at two (2) intersections.

The Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSOQ) aims to secure proposals and services from qualified engineering firms. These firms will assess the viability and processes required to provide emergency backup power to the three sanitary lift stations. Proposers must conduct technical analysis, produce detailed designs, manage easement design and acquisition, create construction drawings and specifications, and obtain necessary site plan approvals. The generator will be installed on the northwest corner of the Johnson Road / Wolf River Boulevard intersection. Additionally, proposers will evaluate the feasibility and provide design services to supply backup power from the same generator to the traffic signals at Wolf River Boulevard / Johnson Road and Wolf River Boulevard / Forest Hill-Irene Road.
