Question 2
Posted: 6/6/2022
Question: How quickly will you award the bid after close on 6-13-22. You request delivery between 7-18-22 and 7-21-22 Supply chain delays may affect delivery Freight inside delivery requested. Are the 81 sections delivered to one central area or throughout the school? Is this a union labor project?
Response: The bid award has to go to the July 21 school board meeting and then a PO will be set up on Monday, July 25 to place the order; however, I will notify the lowest bidder on June 14 that I will be recommending them to the board. An addendum has been added changing the delivery time period until July 26 to August 4. The inside delivery of the 81 four-shelf shelving units will be to one location. This is not a union labor project. Assembly of the shelves is an option on the bid and may or may not be part of the bid award.
