Description: Escambia County, Florida, is seeking the service of a properly licensed and insured hazardous waste transportation, storage, and disposal firm to assist the County in conducting certain activities pertaining to the collection, identification, packaging, manifesting, and transportation of materials to a permitted Transfer Storage and Disposal (TSD) facility for recycling, treatment, and disposal of household chemicals collected through regular operation of the County’s Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Facility or through Amnesty Day-type events.
The County requests that Contractors meeting the qualifications outlined in the Solicitation provide bids for costs for services indicated. The Contractor understands that the County has the exclusive right to reject any and all bidders at its sole discretion and shall be held harmless from any claims by the bidders, resulting in losses due to the County failing to award a contract. In submitting a bid to the County, the bidder agrees to the terms and conditions outlined in this Invitation to Bid.
The County does not guarantee quantities of participants, events, or waste.
