Description: The City of Framingham’s Opioid Task Force is focused on the effective and efficient distribution of the City’s share of Opioid Settlement Recovery Funds with the goal of making a meaningful difference in the lives of Framingham citizens impacted by opioid addiction. The Task Force invites locally based nonprofit organizations, service providers, and agencies already engaged in combatting the opioid crisis and supporting impacted members of the Framingham community to submit a grant application and program proposal seeking a portion of these settlement funds to bolster the critical work they are doing. This work is required to be in one or more of following areas: substance-use prevention, harm reduction, opioid treatment, or recovery support. Proposers may seek a one-time grant reward for a new or continuing program effort, or may request up to three years of annual financial support for an established program with a proven track record of on-going success.
