Separate sealed bids for the Produce Market Road Area Wastewater Collection System Project will be received at the Public Works Conference Room located at 503 Hall Street, Laurinburg, North Carolina, on February 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m., then be publicly opened and read aloud. The bidder shall show evidence of appropriate contractor’s license by clearly displaying his or her current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the bid is delivered.

The proposed project consists of rehabilitation and replacement of gravity sewer lines and replacement and relocation of a sewer pump station in the Produce Market Road Area of Laurinburg, North Carolina. Gravity sewer construction includes replacement of approximately 1,964 LF of 8” gravity sewer, 7,389 LF of CIPP lining in existing 8” sewer lines, manhole rehabilitation and replacement, and related appurtenances.

This project is being funded in whole or in part by the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). All federal CDBG requirements will apply to the contract: Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Section 109 and E.O. 11246 which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Davis Bacon Act, Anti-Kickback Act, and Contract Work Hours and  Safety Standards Act.
