Description: The City of Murfreesboro, Tennessee is issuing a Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals (RFCSP) from qualified Respondents for administering the City’s employee assistance program (EAP) to provide services for a three-year term commencing on January 1, 2018, with an option to extend for two additional one (1) year terms for a total of 5 years. The City of Murfreesboro, Tennessee is a municipality that currently employs about 1,000 active full-time employees (retirees are not eligible for the EAP). The City departments include but are not limited to: Police, Fire, Water and Sewer, Street, Solid Waste, Parks and Recreation, Engineering, Planning, Human Resources, Finance and Administration. The City’s contract with its current EAP provider, Life Services, expires on December 31, 2017. The current EAP provides up to six (6) face-to-face counseling sessions for each benefit eligible person per episode.
