Bid # 023-011 North Highland Park Playground System. Pursuant to Section 39, Code of Alabama 1975, as amended, sealed bids will be received by the City of Prattville at 101 West Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067 in the Human Resources Conference Room City Hall until 12:00 P.M. on July 12, 2023, at which time they will be opened and publicly read aloud. All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the Bidder and Bidders address. Envelopes containing bids must be addressed as follows, and mailed or hand-delivered to the City Clerk’s Office Attn: Paula G. Barlow, 101 West Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067. Re: North Highland Park Playground Bid No. 023-011 by the deadline. 

The scope of work involves furnishing all labor, materials, services, and equipment required to install: a playground system including Entry Way Handholds, 90 degree Horizontal Ladder, Steering Wheel Panel, Leaning Wall Climber, How Tall and I, Traverse Climber, Weeble Climber, Steel Decks, Transfer Systems with Barriers, Crawl Tubes, Ergo Links, Fun Seats, Ganza and 3 in a Row Panels, Straight Zip Slide, Swerve Slide and a Toadstool. (Refer to layout drawings for schedules of components and accessories.)  It is the intention of these specifications and requirements to obtain bids for a playground system for the City of Prattville and to obtain bids that may not be easily and completely evaluated on an equal and competitive basis. If State Code requires bidder to have a certification or license to complete the bid requirements by either type of work or dollar amount, the bidder shall include a copy of the certification or license with the bid and include the certification or license number on the outside of the sealed bid envelope. Bidders are required to return two (2) copies of these specifications, along with the bid invitation form, completed, signed, and notarized. All required information shall be included in the bid. Bidders are cautioned that failure to submit proposal in the format specified shall be grounds to reject the proposal and remove bid from consideration.
