Description: OCSD is requesting bids from qualified abatement contractors for On-call Services for hazardous materials abatement
for Orangeburg County School District buildings. Services may include abatement of asbestos containing materials, lead
based paint, hazardous organic material and mold remediation. Qualified Contractors must be licensed asbestos
abatement contractors with the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) Asbestos
Section (Regulation 61-86.1). All services must be performed in accordance with applicable State and Federal
Regulations and Guidelines pertaining to asbestos, lead-based paint, organic material, and mold remediation. All plans
and/or documentation for the removal and/or remediation of any material will be the contractor’s responsibility to
provide once services have been completed. Cost on the bid sheet should be all inclusive to include materials, labor,
permits, and any other fees,insurance.
