1.0 WORK DESCRIPTION

The work will include furnishing labor, materials, equipment, tools, surveying, engineering,

permitting and construction of sanitary sewer force main and gravity mains, two lift stations, two horizontal directional drills, new gas lines and restoration of existing roadways, driveways, sidewalks and landscaping. These improvements will be constructed by the City of Lake City to provide wastewater improvements near the 1-75 and SR 47 Interchange and to remove existing septic tanks from service in this area.

 

All work shall be in accordance with the construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

 

2.0 RECEIPT OF BIDS

 

Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined at the Lake City Procurement Office, at 205 N. Marion Avenue, 2^nd Floor, Lake City, Florida.

 

City of Lake City utilizes ProcureNow for the posting and advertisement of projects. All Bidders shall create a FREE account with ProcureNow by signing up at https://secure.procurenow.com/signup and will be able to download Bidding Documents and all addenda and or clarifications to the Bidding Documents.

All questions on the bidding documents shall be submitted through ProcureNow. Addenda will be posted to ProcureNow.

 

Bids shall be completed on the enclosed Bid Form as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders and otherwise be in compliance with the Bidding Documents. Sealed bids shall be uploaded to ProcureNow at https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/lcfla/projects/6823 no later than 2:00 P.M. (local time) on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at which time all bids will be read aloud from the City

Council Chambers on WebEx at 2:15 p.m. For a link to attend the opening, please contact

procurement@lcfla.com. Any Bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered.

 

A pre-bid (non-mandatory) conference will be held Monday, March 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers located on the 2^nd Floor of City Hall. Owner/Engineer recommends Bidders to participate in the pre-bid conference.
