Description: Sealed BIDS will be received by Okeechobee County Board of County Commissioners at the Okeechobee County Historical Courthouse, 304 NW 2nd Street, Room 123, Okeechobee, FL 34972 no later than 3:00pm on Wednesday April 16, 2025. Bids will be received on the first floor, Room 123, and publicly opened in Room 201 and read aloud. Any BIDS received after the time specified will not be accepted.
Okeechobee County is accepting bids for the following scope of work/specifications:
Renovate/remodel restroom facility (both male and female) for ADA compliance at the Douglas Brown School. Construction includes, but is not limited to, demolition of walls, partitions, finishes, ceiling, flooring, doors, and doorframes from the existing restrooms. The total area is an estimated 450 square feet. Work encompasses structural, electrical, and plumbing services as described in the Engineered drawings and specifications. The contractor shall be responsible to confirm all measurements and existing conditions for bidding purposes and for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and all else necessary for the permitting and construction of the restroom facility including, plumbing, electrical work, concrete work, woodwork and roofing as necessary to complete to project per the plans, specifications and conditions.

Bidder's attendance is mandatory. BIDS RECEIVED FROM CONTRACTORS WHO DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE PRE-BID MEETING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The purpose of the mandatory Pre-Bid meeting is to provide a site visit to the location.
