Question: 1. Is Special Education, including 504, a requirement? 2. What do you use for Communication to student and to parent, (i.e. School Messenger/Blackboard) Are you considering replacing this as well? 3. What other third-party systems are you using today, and are there any you would like to replace? 4. Are electronic signatures (e.g., DocuSign) acceptable for the forms required for submission? 5. The Vendor Registry has two landing pages for this opportunity. Can you confirm if they should both be there? Can you also confirm we are allowed to upload the proposal via the Vendor Registry portal?

Response: 1. Is Special Education, including 504, a requirement? It is not a requirement, but if a solution is available by the SIS Vendor, please share the solution or integration. 2. What do you use for Communication to student and to parent, (i.e. School Messenger/Blackboard) Are you considering replacing this as well? The district’s current communication tool is Blackboard/ParentLink. At this time, we are not looking to replace this service, but are open to other services, if provided by the SIS Vendor. 3. What other third-party systems are you using today, and are there any you would like to replace? This number will be dynamic, as third-party integrations will change based on curricular and educational usage and need. Some sample applications will include, but not limited to: Canvas, Google Classroom, eduCLIMBER, and ClassLink. We are not looking to replace these systems. 4. Please provide the SIS Vendor designed solution for submitting forms, which could include DocuSign as the SIS Vendor’s solution. 5. The Vendor Registry has two landing pages for this opportunity. Vendor Registry has corrected the issue with two landing pages that you were seeing. The proposal should be submitted through the Vendor Registry portal only.

Question: How many unique standards-based or elementary report cards does the District use or plan to use? In other words, how many grades require a unique report card and in how many languages?

Response: The elementary report card will be unique to each grade level from grades Kindergarten through 5th. Grades 6th through 12th, will be a “standard” report card. The report card should be in English, with the option for language translation for families, including Spanish.
