Description: Sealed proposals for the renovation of the north ball field at Greene Park, located at the intersection of W. Illinois Avenue and Hoyt Avenue in Aurora, IL, shall be received at the Cole Center - Oak Room, 101 West Illinois Avenue., Aurora, IL 60506 until Thursday, March 2, 2017, 3:30 p.m. (local time) when all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids must be received in a sealed envelope addressed with the name of the Bidder, Owner, Project name, and date and time of the Bid. There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting February 21, 2017, 10:00 a.m., at the job site. The project consists of the removal and disposal of existing infield material, earth excavation to expand the existing infield to bring it back into dimensional conformance, the placement and grading of new infield material, the reinforcement of the home plate area, the installation of drain pipe and dry well, the installation of new base plugs, home plate and pitching rubber, finish grading of the infield using a laser grading box to the grades and dimensions shown on the drawings and site restoration, including the placement and watering of new sod.
