Description: The Oconee County Board of Commissioners seeks qualified contractors for the repair, rehabilitation and resurfacing of Oconee County, Georgia roads for fiscal year 2017 (July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017). This will be an “Open End Agreement” to provide for the requirements of Oconee County on an as needed basis with a four-year option to renew. The quantities may be increased or decreased as required to satisfy the needs of the County. Asphalt cement price adjustments will be implemented per GDOT Special Provisions 400/402 for additional work specified 365 days or more after the letting of the original contract. Each bidder must deposit with his bid a Bid Bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount, and a Consent of Surety form from a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia. The Consent of Surety shall state that upon award of the Contract, a Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Total Contract Amount can be furnished.
