Description: FCPS is soliciting sealed bids for the replacement of 26 existing Multizone Rooftop units on existing roof curbs, 5 existing split system air handling units, one existing Kitchen Makeup Air Unit, 4 existing exhaust fans, and 1 existing connector rooftop unit at Henry Clay High School. All equipment shall be replaced back in same location as existing except for the two gymnasium split system units will be replaced with ground mounted rooftop units located outside the gymnasium and ducted up the outside wall into the gym to connect back to the existing ductwork. All new equipment shall have new DDC controls tied back to FCPS’s DDC control system. Once equipment is replaced, testing and balancing shall take place for the areas affected.
FCPS has already direct purchased the 26 Multizone Units due to long lead time. 20 of these units are expected to arrive on site mid to late July with the remaining 6 units expected to arrive mid to late August. The entire project shall be substantially completed by September 30, 2022 with final completion by October 31, 2022. The High School will be occupied during the entire project. Coordination of equipment replacement will take place between the Contractor, Engineer, and Owner.
