Description: It is the intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) to locate qualified Contractors who are
interested and able to provide and coordinate comprehensive medical care services and
associated systems of care for inmates at the Franklin County Adult Detention Facility
(“Facility”) operated by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office (“Sheriff”). The selected
Contractor will provide medical services for inmates housed at the Facility. The selected
Contractor shall work cooperatively with the Sheriff, Franklin County Health Department, and
local hospitals. The provision of inmate health services by the Contractor shall include
comprehensive medical care including administering and prescribing medicine, women’s
health, dental care, coordination with mental health care providers, clinic time and other
services as more specifically identified in this RFP.
