Description: The City of Griffin is accepting proposals from qualified professional services firms/consultants for a scoping study of the Hammond Drive/W. Poplar Street intersection. The purpose of this study is to ensure project feasibility, provide realistic cost estimates and schedules, and identify major obstacles to implementation early in the process while defining a concise design concept which will improve the operational and safety issues that the offset intersection currently poses. The study should include survey and database preparation, traffic studies, environmental studies, stakeholder involvement, preliminary utility coordination, concept plan development, and preliminary cost estimates and schedules.
