Description:

The BIDS shall be based on the following: Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, one (1) time per week inspections, and maintenance, testing, adjusting, repairing and replacing all airfield lighting/equipment system components on a routine, as-needed, as-requested, and/or emergency basis. All services are to be available on a twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week basis. The emergency response time shall be no more than two (2) hours, upon notification. All material will be provided by the County.

 Airfield lighting/equipment system components include, but are not limited to: Airport Rotating Beacon; Wind Cone Assembly; Obstructions Lights, Apron Lights; underground electric cables; Constant-Current Regulators, other Airfield Lighting Equipment located on the Airfield or within the Airport’s Electrical Vault and needed, Runway End Identification Lights (REILS); Threshold Lights, Runway and Taxiway Edge Lights; Internally-Illuminated Runway and Taxiway Signs, Precision Approach Path Indicators (PAPIs); and Pilot Controlled Lighting System.
