Description:

The Town of Bluffton is soliciting competitive sealed bids from experienced and qualified firms to provide sewer extension services to the Buck Island-Simmonsville (BIS) neighborhood as shown on the Hussey Gay Bell map attached to the bid documents.  To review the plans and obtain the bid sheet, email the full company name and address to the Town of Bluffton Procurement & Grants Administrator, Felicia Roth at froth@townofbluffton.com. 

This project will be partially constructed with funds provided by the South Carolina Department of Commerce, Division of Community Grant Programs under the State’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.  Therefore, bidders must comply with Executive Orders 12549 and 12689 regarding Federal debarment and suspension, the South Carolina Illegal Immigration Reform Act, Executive Order 11246 on Equal Employment Opportunity, 45 CFR Parts 90 and 91 against age discrimination, Section 109 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, and Federal Labor Standards provisions including the Davis Bacon Act.  The applicable Davis Bacon wage determination is included in full in the solicitation.
