SPEC-1          GENERAL SCOPE

1.    Wentzville RIV School District (hereinafter “District”) is seeking Proposals for the purchase and implementation of a “Visitor Management System” for 21 school buildings from reputable companies, for the purpose of enhancing school safety for both students and staff. This system must be able to check visitor’s identity (scanning a State or Federal issued identification) through the National Sex Offenders Database within all 50 states and automatically notify our personnel of this information. The system should be customizable to send alerts on individuals who are banned, have restricted access, restraining orders or custody issues.
