It is the intent of the City of Lake City to promote, protect, and
improve the health, safety and welfare of its citizens by appointing a Code
Enforcement Special Magistrate with the authority to impose administrative
fines and other non-criminal penalties to provide an equitable, expeditious,
effective, and inexpensive method of enforcing the codes and ordinances of the
City where a pending or repeated violation exits. The successful firm/individual will provide
services on an as needed basis throughout the term of the agreement.
