Introduction
Barton
County Road & Bridge invites proposals for one (1) vibratory quick attach
roller to be used with Bobcat fleet track loaders. Barton County currently operates with two (2)
T76 T4 units.
Submission Procedure
Proposals
conforming to the requirements set out below must be received via VendorRegistry
(directions found at www.bartoncounty.org) or via US mail or courier to the Barton
County Clerk, 1400 Main Street, Room 202, Great Bend, Kansas, 67530, no later
than the deadline given above. Proposals must state that they are valid for a
period of at least ninety (90) days from the closing deadline. Physical
proposals must be marked, BARTON COUNTY ROAD & BRIDGE, VIBRATORY ROLLER,
bid. Barton County reserves the right to
waive irregularities and to reject any and / or all bids.
Barton
County may reject any bid not prepared and/or not submitted in accordance with
the provisions hereof and may waive any informalities or reject any and all
bids. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the
opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the
time and date specified shall not be considered. Bids submitted after the
closing date and time will be returned to the bidder unopened. No bidder may
withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening
thereof.
Modification of Bids
Modifications to bids
already submitted will be allowed if submitted in writing prior to the time
fixed in the Request for Proposals. Modifications shall be submitted as such
and shall not reveal the total amount of either the original or revised bids.
Scope of Work
Proposals should include
the following information:

The name and contact information of the person
in your firm who would be the official contact for any contractual relationship
·
A project bid includes but is not limited to:
the scope of work, product list with itemized costs, dimensions, applicable warranty
information, approximate hours to complete the job, project timeline, and
delivery
·
Certificate of Insurance for the bidder
·
Affidavit of exempt
status under worker’s compensation act, should bidder not maintain workers
compensation insurance
Specifications
Minimum
specifications for one (1) padded vibratory quick attach roller. Anticipate roller being compatible with
Bobcat T76 track loader 74HP. Unit must
be:

73” wide;
·
Padded roller with scrapper and cleaner;
·
Hydraulic hose guard; and
·
Quick Coupler (anticipate compatibility with Bobcat T76).
·
Warranty – The offerors shall include the warranty for all
products and services under the Request for Proposal. Further, the successful offeror must turn
over all equipment warranties to Barton County.
·
Anticipated Date of Delivery – To be included based upon approval
of bid within 90 days of submission deadline.
·
Delivery Charge – Delivery charge, if any, to be included with bid
amount, but is to be listed separately.
Timeline
Equipment
must be in place within 60 days of bid acceptance, unless supply chain or
shipping demands create delays; an extension may be granted.
Barton
County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to award in the
best interests of the County.
Barton County will award contracts only to responsible contractors
possessing the ability to perform successfully under the terms and conditions
of a proposed procurement. Consideration will be given to such matters as
contractor integrity, compliance with public policy, a record of past
performance, and financial and technical resources.
