Description: The City of Murfreesboro seeks to retain the services of consulting firm(s) to provide professional design and planning services to conduct final design plans and construction administrative services for the new City of Murfreesboro transit center. The project entails final design plans, bid documents and construction administrative services for a new transit facility to accommodate typical transit operations and house transit management staff and employees, provide passenger waiting areas, passenger loading and unloading area, employee and visitor parking, provide bus storage and other support amenities consistent with a full service public transit facility. The selected consultant will be responsible for development of the final design plans, bid documents as well as construction administrative services. TDOT pre-qualified firms may request consideration by submitting a Letter of Interest to Mr. Rob Lyons, City Manager, 111 West Vine Street, Murfreesboro, TN 37130. All letters of interest must be received by the City on or before 3:00 p.m. local time Wednesday September 13, 2017. The letter of interest shall indicate the scope of services to be completed by any sub-consultants.
