Description: Notice is hereby given that the Owner, the City of Manchester, will accept bids for the construction of the Project identified as the Ball Field Lighting & ADA Improvements – LPRF Grant Project. All bids must be in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared and issued by St. John Engineering, LLC, located at 923 Jackson Street, Manchester, TN 37355.
The scope of work is for installation of ballfield lighting, electrical upgrades, ADA-compliant parking spaces, and ADA-compliant sidewalks at six existing ball fields at Fred Deadman Park and Dave King Park in Manchester, Tennessee. Specifications may be examined at City of Manchester, the Dodge Room online at www.construction.com, or the office of St. John Engineering, LLC, 923 Jackson Street, Manchester, TN. Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained at the office of St. John Engineering, LLC after 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 20, 2023, upon depositing the sum of $125.00 for each set of documents. No partial sets will be issued and no refund will be provided for sets that may be returned. All bids must be returned, sealed, to ATTN: Ball Field Lighting & ADA Improvements, Lisa Myers, Finance Director no later than 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 17, 2024 to be opened and read to the public in accordance with the requirements of the City of Manchester. The City of Manchester reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. All interested parties, without regard to race, color, sex, age, disability or national origin, shall be afforded the opportunity to propose and shall receive equal consideration.
