The City of
Woodstock, Georgia, herein referred to as the City, is accepting bids from qualified
contractors for the purpose of providing stormwater infrastructure along Rusk
Street and Lewis Street, hereinafter referred
to as the “PROJECT”. The work to be done consists of the furnishing of all
materials, labor and equipment for the complete construction of the project.

Question: On the mark ups provided can you please answer the following questions Who is to install the storm drain pipe? If the contractor to install under what bid item should it be put? What does DW stand for in the list for the 2’ curb lengths? Who is Lewis? Has the city made the home owners aware that access via their drive way will be limited during construction?
Response: 1. The storm drain pipe already exists. A junction box will be built around the existing RCP pipe to form the catch basin. 2. It should be under the catch basin line. 3. It stands for driveway. (51’ from Driveway A to Driveway B.) 4. Lewis Street is the adjacent street to Rusk Street. 5. The homeowner is aware. This project is in conjunction with the properties redevelopment.
