Home care services provide assistance to older individuals, families, and/or caregivers to overcome specific barriers to maintain, strengthen, and safeguard independent functioning in the home.  These services are designed to prevent or delay institutionalization and improve the individual's or caregiver's quality of life and include personal care, homemaker and chore assistance.
