Question 1

Posted: 8/4/2021

Question: Greetings, Cameron Harland at TP Pump here, Duly noted that the pump specified is a Gorman Rupp 6B1 N95 Series. I might have a better solution than grey iron for the internals. Can you provide the max flow, max TDH and max solids passaged required? I can be reached at cameron@tppump.com or 505-330-6528 for discussion. Thanks in advance! CRH

Response: If a bidder is interested in supplying an alternate pump, a submittal must be made requesting pre-approval as soon as possible and by the last day for questions. The pump should provide at least 1500 gpm at 100 ft of head. The pump should be able to handle at least 1/2" solids. Other considerations will be made including but not limited to the availability of maintenance, pump dimensions, power requirements, and piping requirements.
