Question: Does the County have additional specs on the compactor, above & beyond what is listed in the “Notice to Bidders”?
Response: Jasper County is seeking bids for four (4) 25-yard open-top containers. Containers should be made of 3/16 thick metal on sides and ¼ thick on floors, with 3/16 x 2 x 6 main rails, 4” ground wheels and 4 x 5 channel on 34-inch centers for side braces and one (1) 39-yard self-contained compactor. The self-contained compactor should contain weather covers, 80% lights and pressure gauges. All bids should include delivery fees and South Carolina and Jasper County sales tax.
