Description:

Contractor shall provide all psychiatric services for Escambia County Corrections.  This includes inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services, and after hours and weekend support for urgent clinical matters or medication orders. The contractor shall provide psychiatric assessment and medication management as well as consultation to the Mental Health Counselors on staff.  The contractor will have both direct and indirect contact with the patients (inmates) and will be responsible for documenting all encounters accordingly in the client’s medical record.  All medications must be ordered through the County’s electronic medical records software system provided.
