The Town of
Bluffton, South Carolina (Town) is seeking statements of qualifications from
firms experienced in planning and designing tree houses on private property or
municipal parks. The project will
require site visit(s) and pre-planning services in conjunction with Town staff,
development of a conceptual design to be approved by Town Council, production
of construction drawings and application for permits. The target start date for performing these
services is November 2021.
Contingent upon funding, the Town will issue a separate solicitation (Invitation for Bid) for construction. No advantage will be given to the winning design firm in the construction solicitation. It will be awarded to the lowest priced bid from a responsive and responsible contractor.
