Question: For the Shower Facility, is it to be a series of Bath Rooms with combined shower, toilet and lavatory x 8 (4 men and 4 women) or is it to be a Men’s “multi-fixture” side (4 shower stalls, 4 toilet stalls and 4 lavatories) and a Women’s “multi-fixture” side (4 shower stalls, 4 toilet stalls and 4 lavatories)? Also, if we do the “multi-fixture” concept, will we need at least one “Family Room” with shower, toilet and lavatory?
Response: Women’s: 4 showers, 4 stalls, 4 sinks/counters one side; one solid countertop/mirrors/outlets on the opposite wall. Men’s: 4 showers, 2 stalls, 2 urinals, 4 sinks on one side. One solid countertop/mirrors/outlets on the opposite wall. Both sets of showers should have a private, dry area with small bench just before the actual shower area. Also, an addendum will be published in the near future. The question deadline has been extended until July 19th and the submission deadline has been extended until July 26th.

Question: What is Florence County’s approach to the horse manure? Do we need to build an area for campers to dump and the county will compost it or have it hauled off periodically? Or, will the County require campers to haul manure out with them in their trailers?
Response: All guests will be required to muck their own stalls. The County will supply drums/barrels. The Parks and Recreation staff will haul it away to a separate area of the park.
