Re-Advertisement for Bids
Sealed Bids for the construction of Contract 14.0 - Bridge Creek and College Park Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation will be received, by City of Laurinburg, at City Hall, 303 W. Church Street, Room 221, Laurinburg, North Carolina 28352 until 2:00pm local time on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of a “find-and-fix” rehabilitation of approximately 171,900 linear feet of 8-inch through 24-inch sewer lines and 653 manholes.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum or unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form.
Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at Willis Engineers, 10700 Sikes Place, Suite 115, Charlotte, North Carolina 28277, 704.377.9844 on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
Bidding Documents also may be examined City of Laurinburg, at City Hall, 303 W. Church Street, Room 221, Laurinburg, North Carolina; on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Duncan Parnell (www.dpibidroom.com) for a purchase price as listed on their website. All payments are to be made to Duncan Parnell. Prospective bidders must purchase Bidding Documents directly through Duncan Parnell in order to be considered an official plan holder. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Laurinburg is an Equal Opportunity Employer and invites the submission of proposals from minority and women-owned companies. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals.
Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A pre-bid conference was already held at 2:00pm local time on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at the City of Laurinburg, City Hall, 303 W. Church Street, Room 221, Laurinburg, North Carolina 28352, prior to the first scheduled bid opening. Attendance at the pre-bid conference was not mandatory.
