The City of Etowah is actively seeking bids for the materials and installation of a commercial-grade metal roof for the Etowah 2018 LPRF Project. The required minimum specifications are listed in the attached documentation.
The City of Etowah will then be accepting bids until close of business May 24th. The bids will be opened at the bid opening at 8:00 am Tuesday May 25th at City Hall.
The winning bidder will be selected by the Board and notified in writing after receiving approval from the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC). If TDEC concurs with the City’s selection of the lowest bidder, then a contract for services will be sent to winning bidder along with a Certification of Contractor form required by the State of Tennessee in accordance with TDEC LPRF grant guidelines. Winning bidders will have one week to acknowledge acceptance of the terms of the contract, and upon the execution of the contract the contractor will have thirty (30) days to complete the project.
This project is being partially funded by a grant through the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation’s Local Parks and Recreation Fund (LPRF); therefore, contractors must be willing to abide by the terms and conditions of this grant in order to be considered for the award of the bid.
