Description: The purpose of this bid is to seek a Contractor for the construction of a portion of the Lakeview Mobile Park wastewater collection system to the City of Sebring sewage collection system as shown on the bid plans. The successful bidder will also be responsible for the demolition of the existing wastewater treatment plant and ponds as described on the plans and in the specifications.  The scope of work is generally described as the rehab of the lift station with new lining, new sewage pumps, valve box, panel box, junction box, meter can and 3" force main from the lift station to a gravity collection system within the Sam's (old Scotty's) parking area (see plan). Once the rehabbed lift station is fully functional and have been cleared for use by FDEP, the existing wastewater treatment facility shall be, emptied, cleaned, removed and then legally and properly disposed of offsite. The existing percolation ponds shall be filled in with the leveling from the existing berms and any additional clean sand fill needed to the grades specified on the plans.  The engineering cost estimate for this project is $180,000.00.  A copy of the plans can be obtained by emailing a request to purchasing@mysebring.com.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. All interested parties will meet at 368 S. Commerce Ave., Sebring, FL 33870 in City Council Chambers. At 10:15 a.m. or shortly thereafter, all parties in attendance will leave for a site visit. No questions will be answered at this meeting unless the written question is provided to the Purchasing Agent prior to or during the meeting. Written questions will be answered at the meeting and then posted online at VendorRegistry.com as an addendum.
