Description: The City of Springfield Public Works Department will be accepting sealed bids for the following:
TRAFFIC CAMERA SIGNAL DETECTION INSTALLATION AT INTERSECTION OF SOUTH MAIN STREET AND CENTRAL AVENUE

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project consists of the installation of traffic detection cameras at the intersection of South Main Street and Central Avenue (all four approaches). Bids will cover all cost, material, and labor needed to bring the system completely online. For additional information contact Clayton Moore, Director of Public Works, at 615-384-2746.
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Springfield, Office of the City Recorder, 405 North Main Street, Springfield, TN 37172. Bids will be received until 2:30 PM, local time, Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. No Telegraph/Fax bids will be considered. Each envelope shall bear on the outside the following: Bidder's name, address, license number and expiration date, that part of classification applying to the bid, the date and time of the bid opening and the project name. Failure to show these items on the outside of the envelope will result in the bid being returned to the bidder unopened. Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor as required by the State of Tennessee Contractor's Licensing Act of 1976. Bids, amendments to bids, or request for withdrawal of quotations, received after time specified for bid opening shall not be considered for any cause whatsoever. The City of Springfield reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
