Description: Dorchester County is seeking bids from qualified and experienced Class WL (Water & Sewer Lines) contractors interested in completing the Water Interconnection to Ridgeville – Phase 1 project. Project consists of installation of approximately 33,300 linear feet (LF) of 16-inch water main, which includes 28,910 LF via open cut, 880 LF via jack and bore, and 3,485 LF via horizontal directional drill. Project will also include installation of approximately 60 LF of 12-inch water main via open-cut, twenty-eight (28) fire hydrant assemblies, fifty-two (52) water service connections, and associated appurtenances and fittings.
federal State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). All federal SLFRF requirements and SCIIP requirements will apply to the contract. All contractors and
subcontractors are required to be registered in the federal System for Award Management (SAM) and may not be debarred from doing business with the federal government. Respondents on this work will be
required to comply with all applicable federal regulations, including those listed in the Contract Documents.
