Question: Will the County accept fully refurbished certified tanks with new fittings and paint in lieu of the requirement for all new replacement tanks?

Response: Yes, refurbished certified tanks with new fittings will be accepted.

Question: Will County allow for tank capacity to fall to 30% before scheduling a refill if the proposal includes a tank monitoring system that will allow for the automatic refill request immediately upon the tank reaching 30% capacity?

Response: A tank monitoring system will be allowed. Negotiations can be made regarding the percentage level for refill. The key is to be sure that there is proper levels of propane to run generators and building utilities at the fire stations during emergency situations.

Question: The RFP states the County's preferred method of payment for invoices less than $5,000 is by credit card. Will the County agree to pay all invoices by check, including invoices less than $5,000, for this Contract?

Response: Yes, The County can do payment by check as well.
