Description: The Board of County Commissioners is seeking a third-party (independent contractor) to coordinate and manage the Glades County State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) program for County residents. The purpose of the program is to meet the housing needs of the very low, low and moderate-income households in Glades County; to expand production of the provision of affordable housing to qualified residents of Glades County; to further the housing element of the local government comprehensive plan specific to affordable housing for Glades County residents; to prepare necessary reports and present them at public meetings and to the State of Florida; and to perform such other actions and services as directed by the County.
