Description: The Project consists of, but is not limited to the following major elements: 1. Epps Bridge Road Pumping Station: Improvements to existing duplex submersible pump station to include reconstruction of wetwell bottom, installation of one new pump, rehabilitation/upgrade of pump bases, discharge piping, impellers, power supply lines and controls, installation of new by-pass pump, demolition of existing gas generator and automatic transfer switch and all related piping, conduit, by-pass pumping and appurtenances necessary to complete the work. 2. Mars Hill Road Pumping Station: Supply of one new submersible pump to replace existing pump. 3. State Route 316 Pumping Station: Improvements to existing submersible pump station to include replacement of check and isolation valves, installation of new by-pass connection, replacement of existing force main piping with approximately 50 linear feet (LF) of 6-inch ductile iron pipe, and 200 LF of 6-inch HDPE pipe, and all related by-pass pumping and appurtenances necessary to complete the work. Time of completion for all work associated with the Project shall be ninety (90) consecutive calendar days from the date of a written "Notice to Proceed" from OWNER. If applicable, the certified cashier's check will be made payable to the Oconee County Board of Commissioners. The successful bidder will be required to furnish OWNER with Insurance, Workman's Compensation Insurance, and Performance and Payment Bonds* in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the total bid. CONTRACTORS and SUBCONTRACTORS bidding on this Project will be required to comply with all Federal, State, and local laws. OWNER reserves the rights to waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids, to evaluate Bids, and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the OWNER. No Bid will be rejected without just cause. * Surety companies executing Bonds must appear on the Treasury Department's most current list (Circular 570 as amended) and be authorized to transact business in the State of Georgia.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday December 2, 2015, at the office of the Oconee County Utility Department, 1291 Greensboro Highway, Watkinsville, Georgia 30677. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Meeting is not mandatory for submittal of bids; however, all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend to discuss and clarify any questions regarding the Bid Documents.
