Response: All signs require installation.

Response: No there is no performance or payment bond required for this project.

Question: What are we going to do about the doors once the sign is taken off of them? There are painted and stained finish doors both. Depending on how much the signs have adhered to the doors it is possible some of the veneer will come off. Also it will be difficult to match the finish of the stained or natural finished doors by patching and if the entire door is refinished it will require a significant amount more of prep work, sanding etc.
Response: If a sign is removed from a painted surface, door or frame, then we would like them repainted if needed. For signs that are on a stained veneer, we would like the signs and adhesive carefully removed. We feel there are ways to do this without damaging the veneer. Our goal is to be reasonable and don't have any intention of refinishing doors.

Question: Line item 5 - D4 Wall Mounted Wayfinding: in the design package, there are multiple sizes in this sign type. However, on the bid form there is only one space for 1 unit price. Since the signs are different sizes, the unit price varies. How are we to price this?
Response: There are three sizes on our design document. I have revised the unit price sheet to reflect this. Please have bidders price accordingly.
