Description: The Board of County Commissioners of Escambia County is seeking the Professional Services of a qualified contractor to provide Custodial Services in County-owned and -maintained facilities as noted in Exhibit “A”. The primary objective of this RFP is the selection of the most qualified and experienced Contractor(s) to provide these Custodial Services in a manner that is most advantageous to the County.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: The pre-solicitation conference will begin at the Office of Purchasing, 213 Palafox Place, 2nd Floor, Pensacola, FL 32502, and will continue as a walk-through of several facilities in different locations around the County. All potential bidders are encouraged to attend.

Question: Q1). Who is the incumbent contractor and how long have they been providing their services? Q2). What is the current contracted monthly price and yearly price? Q3). Can you provide us with the bid tab sheet form the last bid opening? Q4). Is it possible to get the current supply usages from the current contractor? Q5). Is the scope/size of this bid identical with the current contract? Have there been any changes from the previously awarded contract to current request for bid? Are there any significant changes from the last bid? Q7). What is the working hours for each location? Q8). When is the question end date? Is it 6/22 5p or 6/15 5p? Two dates are listed. Q9). Question: Question about submission of bid: Do we have an option for submission of bid? Is it either via online or printed 1 original and 1 USB delivered? If we choose to do online submission, we are not required to send 1 USB?

Response: Solicitation responses shall be submitted by either (choose one): • A sealed envelope, with Original signatures in indelible ink and signed in the proper spaces by a person authorized to sign on behalf of the firm. Responses on Vendor forms will not be accepted. Sealed proposals shall include an electronic copy of the complete proposal on CD or flash drive. • Uploading a PDF of the complete proposal, including a signed Bid Form with Original signatures in indelible ink and signed in the proper spaces by a person authorized to sign on behalf of the firm. Responses on Vendor forms will not be accepted.

Response: The SBE goal is a goal, not a mandatory requirement for any firm. No points have been assigned to any criteria related to SBE.
