Description:

The City of Prattville is seeking bids for the processing and analysis of commingled recycling commodities collected from an approximated 12,000 curbside roll carts in Prattville. The intended recycling stream to be processed will consist of cardboard, paper (office and mixed grades), plastics (#1, #2, and #5), and aluminum (mostly used beverage containers also known as UBC’s). The City of Prattville collects approximately 850 tons of commingled recycle per month. The indicated tonnage is an approximation of aggregate tonnages documented for the past two years by the City and is not guaranteed to the successful bidder. Bidders are cautioned that failure to submit their proposal in the format specified shall be grounds to reject the proposal and remove the bid from consideration.
