Description: The intent of this solicitation and resulting agreement is to obtain the services of one or more licensed transportation contractors to provide transportation/taxi services for Arlington County (County) Department of Human Services’ (DHS) clients and participants in selected Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) programs.

Question: So that offerers have enough time to prepare a thoughtful response, including the required legal review of the mandatory provisions of the draft contract, will DHS please consider extending the submission deadline to March 31? Our team would appreciate any flexibility DHS can provide.

Response: The County will extend the proposal due date and time. This will be officially amended via an Addendum after the deadline for all questions has passed.

Question: Can DHS please confirm that the COVID-19 requirements for independent contractor drivers of taxi and TNC companies are set forth in Section IV, 1.0, A. 14., of the RFP and that the County vaccination mandate does apply to such independent contractors?

Response: Yes, the County’s COVID-19 vaccination policy applies to all contractors, independent contractors, and subcontractors.
