Description: The City of Prattville is seeking sealed bids for Prattville Public Works - Phase 2 Improvements. Principal items of work include site work and construction of a 2,400-sf enclosed pre-engineered metal building and a 12,000-sf open pre-engineered metal building at the City of Prattville's Public Works Facility.  Plans and specifications may be viewed and examined at the City of Prattville Public Works Department, 530 Doster Road, Prattville, AL 36067, at the office of Civil Southeast, 342 US Highway 82 Bypass West, Prattville, AL 36067, or in the Alabama Graphics Digital Planroom.  Each bidder must be licensed as a Contractor in the State of Alabama in accordance with provisions of Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended, and must submit with bid satisfactory evidence of such license.  All bids shall be submitted in the Contract Specifications Book as issued by the Engineer.  All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the Bidder, Bidder's license number, license expiration date, category, address and name of the project.  Envelopes containing bids must be addressed as follows, and delivered to: Ms. Lisa Byrd, Interim City Clerk, Prattville City Hall, 101 West Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067, Prattville Public Works - Phase 2 Improvements, Enclosed PEMB and Open PEMB, City of Prattville Bid Number: 021-005.  Bidders are cautioned that failure to submit their proposal in the format specified shall be grounds to reject the proposal and remove the bid from consideration.  The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
