Description: Escambia County Waste Services Department requests quotes for the hourly rental of of heavy equipment with an operator.  Equipment with skilled operator(s) will be directed by landfill staff to perform earth moving work associated with landfill maintenance activities.  The work will be performed at the Perdido Landfill.  Hours will generally be Monday through Friday, 10 hours per day.  No minimum or maximum hours are guaranteed.  Operators are required to have appropriate PPE, i.e. hard hat, boots with puncture-resistant soles and steel toes, high-visibility shirt or vest, safety glasses and sturdy work gloves.  Equipment repair, maintenance and fuel will be the responsibility of the rental company.  Quotation shall be valid through September 30, 2021.  Quotation form is located at the end of this document.  Contact Info:  Julie Gonzalez:  jagonzalez@myescambia.com or 850.937.2142
