INVITATION TO BID

ALL INTERESTED PARTIES:

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Medley, Florida, hereinafter referred to as the Town, will receive sealed Bids at the Town Clerk’s office at the Medley Municipal Services Facility, 7777 N.W. 72nd Avenue, Medley, Florida 33166, for:

SERVICE OF:

The Contractor must furnish all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and perform all operations required to construct the Town of Medley Capital Improvements project (0107-1) in accordance with the Contract Documents and as described in the Construction Plans.

Work includes, but is not limited to, roadway and drainage improvements along N.W. South River Drive Roadway Improvements from N.W. 121st Way to N.W. 116th Way.

1. 2-lanes 2-way roadway with concrete curb & gutter

2. Bike lanes on both sides

3. Drainage system with exfiltration trench

4. Signage and Pavement markings

Contractor shall be responsible for complying with the requirements of all regulatory agencies and applicable laws; coordination with all impacted utility owners; and complying with the requirements of the Town of Medley and Miami-Dade County.

Sealed Bids must be received and time stamped by the Town Clerk, either by mail or hand delivery, no later than 3:00 p.m. local time on March 10, 2022. Any Bids received after 3:00 p.m. local time on said date will not be accepted under any circumstances and will be returned to the Bidder unopened. The stated time and date is solely and strictly the responsibility of the Bidder. The Town is not responsible for delays caused by mail, courier service, including United States Mail, or any other occurrence. Any uncertainty regarding the time a Bid is received will be resolved against the Bidder.

Response: Harmonization has been calculated from Sheets C-24 to C-28 cross section, then indicated on sheet C-5 Summary of Earthwork with pay items 120-1 and 130-6.

Response: As detailed in the Bid Documents, full closure will not be allowed and the contractor shall provide an MOT plan for approval by the Town of Medley.

Response: The project time frame has been revised to: 270 days for substantial completion and 300 days for final completion.
