Description:

Sealed bids for the Runway 10-28 Rehabilitation project at the Lake City Gateway Airport will be received at the Procurement Department, City Hall, 205 N. Marion Avenue, Lake City, FL 32055 until 2:00 PM, EDT, on Thursday, June 28, 2018 and there, at said office, at said time, publicly opened and read aloud.  An original and one copy, BOTH CLEARLY MARKED ITB-017-2018 shall be submitted in a sealed envelope. 

Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal.

A complete set of Bid Documents will be available on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 and may be obtained from Passero Associates at www.passero.com under the ‘BID’ tab for a fee of $50.00 (Non-refundable); and from the following sources:

A Mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Lake City Gateway Airport, 3524 E. US Hwy 90, Lake City, FL 32055 on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 10:00 am.

Technical questions shall be directed to Mary Gniech of Passero Associates (mgniech@passero.com)  and must be received no later than Tuesday, June 12, 2018.  An addendum will be issued on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.

A 4.36% DBE participation goal and Davis-Bacon requirements will be included in the Contract. 

The City of Lake City, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 USC §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders or offerors that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
